Lunéville embroidery course: Fridays June 6, 13, 20, 27 and July 4 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Are you passionate about embroidery, thread arts, and Haute Couture?

At the Atelier, come discover Lunéville's artistic crochet embroidery. Immerse yourself in the world of beads and sequins and bring a brilliant design to life. This fascinating technique will be taught by Isabelle Bourguignon, a haute couture embroiderer. The workshop will take place over five 3-hour sessions in a welcoming setting.

Lunéville embroidery allows for the application of all kinds of ornaments, on a regular basis: by working on the reverse side of the fabric, embroiderers develop new skills, from their eyes to their fingertips! Learning this technique promotes French textile culture and perpetuates a know-how that the world envies us for!

This course is aimed at people who already have basic knowledge of sewing and needlework (learning to use Lunéville crochet, chain stitch with thread, placing beads and sequins in a river, needlework with rayon thread).

All necessary equipment will be provided and OFFERED

The kit includes:

-a coupon of silk organza

-the drawing and the technical sheet

-beads, tubes, sequins and bowls

-a hook from Lunéville

An embroidery frame will be loaned to you for the duration of the course, you can purchase it if you wish at the end of the course.
