Custom-made patronage

The internship over one quarter from January to March 2025, every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.:

January 7, 14, 21 and 28, February 4 and 11, then March 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2025. This course is dedicated to intermediate seamstresses:

Learn the basics of women's pattern making: flat cutting technique. Make the bust (bodice) and sleeve templates: So discover how to interpret an inspiration to make the complete pattern of a model of your choice (Top, jacket or simple coat, or simple dress)

• Introduction to pattern making, creation of a measurement table, presentation of the material, course support. (for taking measurements, remember to wear suitable underwear and a tight-fitting t-shirt).
• Construction of the basic bust (bodice) to measure.
• Creation of the bust canvas, critique and correction.
• Construction of the sleeve, creation of the canvas, criticism and correction.
• Template modification techniques (ease, chest dart manipulation, cinching, style line, etc.)
• Interpretation of an inspiration, application of ease according to the style, choice of fabric.
• Construction of the chosen model over 2 x courses
• Creation of the canvas, criticism and correction
• Finalizing the pattern (seam allowances, facing, closures, pockets, lining, etc.)
