Summer Pass

The Summer PASS - Come and discover sewing during a 6-hour course at the Atelier! Discover how to use the machine, learn to sew from a pattern, the tips for cutting, make your summer dress and your beach bag with which you leave!!! You have the choice of fabrics!

Morning from 10am to 1pm: Machine Introduction and Making a Beach Bag. The course begins with an introduction to sewing: the essential stitches, the bobbin, straight stitch and zig-zag stitch, sewing at 1cm, pivoting, hem and stopping stitch. Accompanied by our teacher, you will cut according to a pattern, sew straight, add the handles of the bag and give it volume and make the finishes.

Afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: My Beach Dress, you will make your first summer dress, you will cut according to a pattern, you will see the installation of elastic and work on the hems

6-hour training course from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Lunch break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.)

The key steps for the dress are: cutting the fabric according to a pattern, assembling the pieces in order, making the hems of the neckline, armholes and bottom of the dress, making a casing at the waist with bias binding, passing elastic through the casing and finishing your dress!
