Sun Pass - Come and discover sewing during a 6-hour course at the Atelier! Discover how to use the machine, learn how to cut from a pattern and come and make your first Top and your first Shorts. You have the choice of fabrics that are offered!

Morning from 10am to 1pm: The course begins with getting to grips with the machine and then testing on sample fabrics. We will cover: threading the bobbin and the bobbin, straight stitch and stop stitches, zig-zag, etc., sewing at 1cm. You will learn how to pivot at corners, make a hem, etc.

To make your first "v-neck" top, you will cut according to a pattern, sew straight and at an angle, and learn the techniques for making a facing for the neckline and creating a v-neckline and creating pretty finishes.

Afternoon from 2pm to 5pm: Cutting and making your first pair of shorts, using the techniques seen in the morning. You will learn how to make a casing for the elasticated waist, you must assemble the sides and learn the technique of a specific assembly of the crotch of your shorts, then hem the bottom of your shorts.

You leave with your creations in the fabric of your choice!

6-hour course from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Lunch break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.)

The key steps for the dress are: cutting the fabric according to a pattern, assembling the pieces in order, making the hems of the neckline, armholes and bottom of the dress, making a casing at the waist with bias binding, passing elastic through the casing and finishing your dress!
